Maintenance & Cleaning Guide
For Basins
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING GUIDE
- Please tell the plumber when installing to not rub any harsh chemicals onto your basin, especially when cleaning up the silicone/putty around the drainage hole.
- Clean your basin with soapy water and a cloth (avoid hard surfaced sponges, and products with high PH levels that are abrasive and acidic such as: nail polish remover, bleach, vinegar, coffee, paint strippers and tints).
- If your basin does contact harsh chemicals rinse immediately with water to neutralize.
- For stubborn stains use a non-abrasive cleanser and avoid scrubbing. A wet cloth is recommended for dry spills.
- Concrete expands in the heat so avoid the exposure of excessive localized heat as this may damage your basin.
- Avoid impacting the surfaces and edges with hard objects as this may cause scratches. Small marks and scratches may occur after day to day use.
- Please tell the plumber to follow the installation guide.
- Please avoid water sitting in the concrete basins for extended periods.
- Clean your basin with light soapy water and a soft cloth only, (due to the nature of concrete small marks may occur after day to day use, so we advise you to avoid hard surfaced objects, any harsh chemicals and paint to further protect your basin.)
- If staining does occur, rinse immediately with soapy water and a soft cloth to avoid further soaking into the basin. Allow to dry.
- Please avoid oils seeping into the concrete as concrete is naturally porous.
- Avoid extended exposure to direct heat. Do not pour boiling water inside the concrete basins.
- Lastly, we hope you enjoy your basin handmade especially for you!
